Fiona (Classic)
Sweet Fiona is a smaller size (~45 pounds) 1-2 year young American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix. After being on stray-hold in the PG shelter for over a month, her assessment was great ... Newsflash: she's still a sweetie!
Despite questionable treatment in her past – as her beautiful ears were cropped, Fiona never gave up on humans and, in fact, thrives on human attention! She also did well on her temperament test where she showed no resource guarding, and was fine meeting a male dog. So, if you have a pup at home, we’d love to see if they would like to be friends! No kitties though – they excite her a little too much.
Her favorite thing is just being close to her people! Fiona loves her outside-time with volunteers and has quickly become a volunteer favorite! She rides well in a vehicle, but really prefers to be up front so you can pet her and she can give you sweet 'puppy-dog' eyes. Fiona has a lot of love to give so, if you're short on love, ask to meet her!! 💜
