Tyson is not even a year old yet but already has a story to tell. He found himself as a stray in Prince Georges County Shelter; a county with bread-specific legislation that won’t adopt out pit bulls. Unfortunately, is family never came to claim him but AAHA didn’t hesitate to bring this friendly boy in to the rescue for adoption.

Tyson has never once let his circumstance dampen his spirits or love. He is an active, playful companion who loves to play fetch, go on walks, and play with the hose and kiddie pool. He is confident and very smart, and is currently being trained to ‘lay down’ and ‘stay’ – as he already knows ‘sit’ and ‘paw.’ Tyson is very eager to please and enjoys treat training. He does well in a crate he settles down when he is left alone. Tyson has an infectious smile and he dares you not to smile back at him! Please inquire about meeting him today!! 💜

Tyson is a house-trained neutered male with up-to-date vaccinations.

He would be good in a home with children and other dogs.
