Harley

COURTESY POST: Sweet Harley – a Cane Corso – is a beautiful 15 month old pup adopted at 7 months from Baltimore County shelter (Sept. 2019). She is seeking a new home due to current family being unable to meet her needs in their current situation.

Harley LOVES treats – especially her bully sticks – and naps, of course! She is a cuddle bug who chooses her person … and they become her ‘everything.’ Harley is loyal, playful, and calm. She is not a barker, but will let you know when there is someone around who may be ‘questionable.’ She is also extremely patient, tolerant, inquisitive and smart! Harley loves being outside, running around exploring, and going for walks! She is extremely strong on-leash and can be skittish and cautious of people approaching her. So, she must wear a harness on walks since she can be difficult to redirect when frightened. Harley is leery of men, but will warm up over time. She has no known history of bites of aggression.

Best environment:
(please only apply if you feel you are a right match for her below needs)

  • experienced people who are able to commit to training

  • training focus on confidence-building and overcoming fear of strangers

  • routine schedule including regular exercise to keep anxiety at bay

  • fenced yard required

Please reach out to AAHA if you are interested in meeting Harley! 💜

Harley is a spayed female with up to date vaccinations. She would be good in a home with older children (18+) and other dogs. No cats please!
