JD is a 2 year old, 58 pound Pit Bull Terrier & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix who was brought into the PG County Shelter as a stray. He is such a sweet and affectionate boy with all of our volunteers – a real favorite!

JD's favorite pass-time is chewing on his toys – and he is not picky either. Toys, bones, and hooves are all the same to him! (No stuffies, please.) He likes to stay busy. He also enjoys laying in your lap, getting petted, and being with his person. On walks he can be a strong puller if he sees a squirrel, cat, or passes another dog. For this reason we recommend a home with a fenced yard, no cats, and our typical proper introduction with any other dog living in the home.

JD is a super-handsome dog with the personality to match. If you let him into your life, he will surely steal your heart!!!!! 💜
